In a significant turn of events, acclaimed British indie studio The Chinese Room has regained its independence from Sumo Digital through a management buyout. Known for its innovative titles like Dear Esther and Everybodys Gone to Rapture, the studio is now poised to explore new creative horizons with two original intellectual properties (IPs) in development. Under the leadership of director Ed Daly, The Chinese Room aims to not only create original content but also collaborate with other studios that align with their vision.
